So lately I have been struggling with the decision of whether or not to go full on with art or full on with writing. And, god, it's just so damn hard to choose! Sometimes I am certain of which I prefer and other times I feel like I might cry if I live without the other. Ugh. I feel like pulling my hair out!!
Well, while I was in this state I mind, I just so happened to look over at my favorite Manga AND Anime story: Vampire Knight. And then it hit me. I could compromise and try and do both! So I got all excited, pulled out my sketch pad, and set off.
Now, of course I have drawn Manga before and it's always turned out beautiful, but, thing is, it's one thing to draw it with a reference picture and a wholly other thing to just sketch something completely new and of your own creation! Argh! My very first drawing ended up being some ugly blond girl with too big eyebrows. Ick! I am sooo frustraighted with myself it's undiscribable. Geez! I just do't know how Matsuri Hino does it.
And don't even get me started on a story line. I've got so many idea's buzzing around in my head it's a wonder I can think about anything else!!
